Art of Being
Take a leap into an adventure of color, form and the imagination…
ART OF BEING is a creative process that takes you into the wild territory of painting directly from feelings. It provides a fascinating voyage into the realm of creativity for the purpose of self-discovery. It’s a practice of staying present to your feelings and allowing yourself to express whatever arises. The goal is free-expression, with the emphasis on the creative process rather than on technique or outcome.
ART OF BEING is an opportunity to embark on the greatest of all human journeys – by embracing your own feelings and confidently following them you will be lead into greater understanding.
In this workshop you will learn the process of tapping into an extraordinary resource: your own creative spirit.
ART OF BEING is an in-depth process of self-exploration using creativity to uncover the answers to many of life’s questions. Connecting to your feelings you will find both obstacles which block your path and insights that reveal the way toward a more meaningful life.
The purpose of this course is creative play. It is a means to access your own sense of joy through creativity.
No experience necessary- only a willingness to play.
- Cost: $25 per session, all materials and supplies included
In these sessions everyone is a beginner. People from all levels of experience are welcome, including those who have never picked up a paintbrush.
“Once you awaken your intuition and get in the habit of listening to and acting on it, every decision in your life will become reflective of your inner truth. The trick is not to work out all the answers in your head.”~ Gabrielle Roth
What participants had to say about the Art of Being process:
“[This process] gave me a map of where to go in order to find peace within myself. I know I have a long journey left, but just the realization that I don’t have to live trapped inside my head is helping immensely in my quest to avoid major depression and despair. What [the process] taught me is that the serenity and peace I seek already lives inside of me. It is truly a living thing separate from the rest of my physical day-to-day life, but I must relearn how to focus my “mind’s eye” on that part of my soul. I say relearn because I knew as a child, before I had regrets, guilt, worries, and doubts, where to find it. When I practice what you taught me with watercolors I can find that place again. It has been missing from my life for so many years.” – Amy, AZ
“The Art of Being experience was a real eye opener for me. I have no artistic skills whatsoever, and it really didn’t matter. The messages and knowledge I gained from this experience were far deeper reaching into my soul as it unlocked things I needed to know about myself. Many of my questions were answered and the techniques I learned are priceless. I continue to use them in my life today.” – Jim, MI
“Every artist dips his brush in his own soul, and paints his own nature into his pictures.”~ Henry Ward Beecher
