Make A Native American Hand Drum
The Sacred Drum
Join Patrice Donnelly for a creative evening of drum making. This process will leave you exhilarated & in possession of a 13” sacred hand drum built by you, with your love, passion and energy entwined with its very being.
It is said that the search for meaning is really the search for the lost chord. When the lost chord is discovered by humankind, the discord of the world will be healed and the symphony of the universe will come into complete harmony within itself…
The drum making process becomes a journey of transformation, and your drum, a symbol of healing. Bringing people together through it’s rhythm, and opening up to it’s healing power is the purpose of the drum.
Due to the drum-making process, pre-registration is required.
- Cost: $145 All materials and drum beater included.
Please use the form below to register. Payment can be made the evening of the workshop.

What others had to say about this workshop:
I have a deep love and passion for music. At one time, I played a variety of instruments including the drums, but slowly drifted away as I became more involved in my nursing career and the good old “Rat Race”. Recently I began having the urge to play again and through some very synchronistic events found this workshop. Being craft-challenged, I was a little worried, but didn’t need to be as it’s easy and fun to do! And, I can tell you this, there’s something quite wonderful about making your own drum. So if you want a great experience and a drum that you can actually play and enjoy, I highly recommend this workshop!! ~ Susan Hudson, MI
I recently had the pleasure of attending a drum making workshop with Patrice Donnelly.I have never made a drum before and I am not mechanically inclined. Patrice had every thing we needed to make the drums, including plenty of tools, I did not need to bring a thing. She showed us how to do each step and cheerfully assisted anyone who wanted help. Her instructing method was precise and I was delighted to take home a beautiful well made drum that I will cherish for years. I would highly recommend this class or any class that Patrice leads.
