What is a Vortex?
A vortex is a place of concentrated energy that most people can sense. It is usually a result of positioning: Where two or more energy meridians, called “ley lines,” intersect on the earth’s grid. Many of the sacred temples and cathedrals around the world are built on these natural earth energy centers.
Our Earth’s Vortexes are found in many places around the planet. Here in Sedona, there are various energies, both large and small. When in proximity to these energy sources, you may be affected to varying degrees. Some people feel more relaxed, some meditative and some energized. The feelings you may experience are as individual as you.
Your Spiritual Host in Sedona
Patrice Donnelly, a part-time resident of Sedona, will lead you to specially chosen “pockets of energy” to help you connect with the transformative energies in the most popular vortex areas.
“In preparation for your experience here, I invite you to come with an open mind and a willing heart, and be ready to meet true magnificence! I look forward to sharing this special time with you!”

As you meditate while close to a vortex point, most experience of a change within their own bodies energy field. These vortexes serve as fields that one can tap into to touch their own higher dimensional selves. When we are close to an active chakra of the Earth, it energizes us to “see” things the way they really are – multidimensional, ever changing and ever evolving.
What others had to say about this retreat:
I recently attended the Sedona Tour led by Patrice in May. Patrice has extensive knowledge of out of the way trails and places that a visitor to Sedona may never see or hear of. We were able to experience the wonders of several vortex areas and even had meditation right there at the vortex! The resort house was beautiful, the food plentiful, Patrice’s hospitality over and above. I highly recommend this trip to anyone who wishes to see the more spiritual side of Sedona, you will come back more alive and relaxed than you ever were before. It was an experience that I will cherish forever and I hope to return again. -Tana Jacks, MI
I journeyed with Patrice and some others from our meditation circle to Sedona, AZ this spring. I hiked, meditated, ate, and laughed till I cried… many, many times. The trip was nothing less than phenomenal and great leaps occurred in my spiritual development. Patrice is a great cook, a knowledgeable tour guide, and a trusted ear. She is also a gracious friend. -Brian H.
